A customer in Alba, TX needed a ductless mini split installed in a new building. Before any work began, we evaluated the space and determined the correct system size for the application. We walked the customer through the full installation plan and answered any questions before moving forward.
Once we had the go-ahead, Family Air HVAC Services installed a new heat pump ductless mini split system. After the unit was in place, we pressure tested all connections to confirm there were no refrigerant leaks. We also installed a safety disconnect and added surge protection to help guard the system against electrical damage.
The final step was pulling a deep vacuum on the refrigerant lines. This is a critical part of any proper mini split installation. It removes moisture and air from the system, which helps ensure reliable performance and a longer equipment lifespan. The system was verified to be operating correctly before we left the job site. Customer is very pleased with the outcome.
