A homeowner in Alba, Texas called because their HVAC system's blower motor wouldn't turn off. The heating and air conditioning functions were working normally, but the indoor fan kept running continuously.

Our Family Air HVAC Services technician diagnosed the problem as a failed internal control board in the X13 indoor blower motor. This type of motor failure prevents the system from receiving proper shutdown signals. When the internal board fails, the motor loses its ability to cycle on and off as needed.

The solution requires replacing the entire blower motor assembly. This repair will restore normal system operation and prevent the motor from running constantly, which saves energy and reduces wear on other system components.
