Customer wanted to add mini split ductless unit to a new building. Family Air installed 3 Daikin heat pump ductless mini spits into his new building. We hung both the indoor and outdoor units on the wall using wall brackets, ran the copper tubing, drain tubing, and electrical wire. All three units are cooling the space very nicely to the desired temperature.

Great service! Installed 6 mini splits on our new commercial building. Will definitely use for all of our HVAC needs.
A homeowner in Emory, Texas contacted us when their dryer wasn't drying clothes effectively. Customer needed annual a/c tune up. Technician performed an a/c or spring tune up on their air conditioning system. Made sure all parts including the run capacitor was working as designed. At that time the technician found major air leaks in attic. We air sealed the leaks by taping and adding air sealant. The unit is no longer leaking air to the attic and the air conditioner is also fully tune up and working as designed.

Joshua was professional and did an outstanding job taking care of my issue in a timely manner. Prices were very reasonable and I would highly recommend Family Air to anyone that's looking for a reliable company.
Customer messaged us through Facebook stating the air-conditioner was not keeping up and they had noticed it was freezing up. Upon arrival we found that the air filter had just been changed, and it was 100% blocked which was causing poor airflow which does cause a/c units to freeze up. We also found the outside heat pump was very dirty. We took the heat pump unit apart and foamed washed it from the inside out. The foam helps to push more dirt and debris out. When we went into the attic, we noticed the condensate drain line was clogged up, so we took the drain line apart and flushed it clean. At this time the unit is cooling very well and the customer was happy with everything done.

Customer said a/c was not cooling and running a lot. A technician from Family Air found the a/c compressor was not starting due to a bad dual run capacitor. Technician replaced the dual capacitor and the unit started up with no problem and began cooling.

A homeowner in Emory, TX called us about a no heat problem with their heat pump system. Our technician diagnosed the issue and found the heat pump was low on refrigerant. This caused the auxiliary heat to run for excessive amounts of time, driving up energy costs. We discovered an indoor wiring issue that needed immediate attention. Our team corrected the wiring problem and added the proper amount of refrigerant to restore the system's efficiency. The heat pump is now working as intended and providing reliable heating. We presented the customer with repair options and discussed preventive measures. The homeowner enrolled in our regular maintenance program. We'll check the system again in the spring to monitor the refrigerant levels and ensure the repair is holding up well. Low refrigerant in heat pumps can cause serious problems if left unchecked. The auxiliary heat strips work much harder when the heat pump can't operate efficiently. This leads to higher electric bills and unnecessary wear on the system. Regular maintenance helps catch these issues early before they become costly repairs.
