We discussed the benefits of converting over to an energy efficient heat pump. We removed the indoor and outdoor units along with some metal ductwork. We installed the new Amana 3.5 ton heat pump system with auxillary backup heat. We also replaced the drain pan, a/c disconnect, supply plenum, electrical whip, and added a surge protector. The unit is in and working as designed.
