We found the refrigerant levels were very low which caused the unit to freeze. We performed an electronic leak test and found a leak in the system. This unit is very old, inefficient, and utilized R-22 refrigerant that has been phased out. We went ahead and topped off the refrigerant so they could have cooling and suggested a new unit as soon as possible.
