Family Air installed two dampers in ducts and adjusted the damper down about 75% per the customer request. The airflow is much less now and the customer is pleased with the outcome.

Customer complaint was poor airflow. Family Air diagnosed the system and found that a piece of insulation from inside the airhandler has come loose and got pulled in toward the blower motor and was also blocking half the evaporator coil. This insulation was the cause of the poor airflow as it was causing a 50% restriction. We measured the airflow with an airflow tester. We strapped the insulation back up to the top of the airhandler and the problem was fixed. We then tested the airflow after the fix and found the airflow had increased by about 50%. Customer was very happy with the results.
