A customer in Mineola, TX reached out over the weekend after their air conditioner stopped working. Our technician responded quickly to get things back on track.

After inspecting the system, we found that the dual run capacitor had failed. The run capacitor helps the compressor and fan motor start and run efficiently. When it fails, the unit simply won't cool your home.

We replaced the faulty capacitor and also cleaned the condenser coil while we were there. A dirty condenser coil can reduce efficiency and put extra strain on the system, so keeping it clean is an easy way to protect your investment.

With those steps complete, the unit was back to cooling properly. If your AC stops working — especially on a hot Texas weekend — don't wait it out. Quick service can often prevent a small problem from turning into a much larger repair.
