Our technician completed a comprehensive heating tune-up on a heat pump system in Yantis, TX. We thoroughly tested the refrigerant system across all operating modes. This included normal heating mode, defrost cycle, and emergency heat backup.

During the service, we tightened all electrical connections and tested every electrical component. Our team discovered that the heating contactors were producing a loud buzzing sound when activated. While this doesn't affect current operation, we scheduled a follow-up visit to replace these components before they fail.

The good news is that the system is heating properly and meeting the home's comfort needs. The heat pump is operating as designed despite the noisy contactors. Replacing these components will ensure quiet, reliable operation throughout the heating season.
