I’ve been needing my dryer vent cleared out for about 20 years (no exaggeration). Joshua just happened to be sitting in his van at the post office and I noticed on the van it said dryer vent service. I spoke to him and he agreed to do the job even though it hadn’t been done in 30 years. He was very friendly and followed through on everything he said. Just a really nice guy. He didn’t complain about 30 years of crud that he removed from the vent! I was super happy with the job he did, with the price, and with him in general. I know this was a small job compared to A/C service, but it meant a lot to me. I highly recommend this business!

I have had Josh out to the house a couple of times with issues with our 20+ year old AC unit. Both times he was able to get it operating again at a very reasonable price when we admittedly need a new unit, but don’t have the budget for right now. He is A very friendly, honest, and capable, HVAC technician.

I had been dealing with ongoing issues with my AC not cooling and had multiple service visits through my home warranty with no real answers. I finally decided to call Family Air in Quitman, TX, and I’m so glad I did. Josh came out the very next day and was extremely professional and thorough. Instead of doing a quick check, he took the time to properly inspect the system and quickly found the real problem. The blower wheel was completely blocked and the capacitor was failing—issues that had been missed during previous visits. He explained everything clearly, showed me exactly what was wrong, and got everything cleaned and working properly again. My AC is finally cooling like it should. When you need quick service and quality repairs this is the go to HVAC company. They were able to identify the issue and bring down the temps same day. Got the parts to fix the attic exhaust fans within a day also to further cool down the house. You could hang meat in here now if you wanted to in the middle of summer!
